I Am Going To Be Famous

http://www.last.fm/music/Taylor+Liss

I am officially forcing Taylor to let me manage him in his music career, because of this, I am going to be famous. Even though as of this moment we only have one track available for download, “McDs” we will be famous very very shortly.

So please, drop by our Last.fm page and pick up the song, and learn to love it… LEARN TO LOVE IT

Photogenic Allston Party #4

So this time was the second third time I was drunk, but definitely the most I was ever drunk, I practically drank my life away. Well, not in that alcoholic drunk wasting life away sense, well, Jory said it best, “Choo Choo!! Here comes the jello train!!” Jello shots are like boomerangs, they go down easy and come flying to smack you in the face.

Carolyn clung to Jory like lint on a jacket, Jory shoveled me jello shots, Bonnie passed out before I even showed up, Lindsay put me to shame when it came to the guitar, Diane’s hair is better than yours and Matt is the greatest boss in the world <3

I wish I could talk about everything that happened that night, but remembering how sick I was the next day is really preventing me to do so, so you’re have to wait till next time, or just join the party. :)

Work, Girls And Too Much Sleep

Work was fun, Matt screwed up the schedule and gave us an extra hour to work for free. He wanted us to work on the Spirit from 5:30-11pm, but we ended up working 5:30-12pm because the boat was cruising from 8-11pm, and not from 7-10pm. We managed to do all the shooting during boarding/dockside, which made it about 300 times easier for us then shooting on board. The dockside shooting gave us plenty more time to package and sell the photos, because it took us nearly an hour to print and package all the photos, about 170 of them. 2 hours of selling on deck went well, but it was still kinda shitty considering the volume of people we knew we had on the boat.

Selling dockside was the normal amount of crazy and insane, yelling, kicking, screaming, doing whatever we had to do to get people to buy photos. Chad twice ran down a bunch of crazies trying to run off with the photos, that was funny to watch. In the end I left before knowing the final sales numbers, but I know we did pretty kick ass.

On our walk back to the office I peeled off to head over to South Station to catch the train home. It was 12pm already so I didn’t want to gamble missing the train. As I’m crossing the bridge Jory yells back at me, “Hey Joe! Thanks for the drink!” and he waves my drink, I yell back the first thought I would normally have in my stolen drink situation, “Is it my Dew!?” “No, It’s your Tiger, (Gatorade)” “Oh, okay, do you want the other one?” “Yes! Throw it in the snow bank!” I give the bottle the ole heave ho, about 50 feet out and 20 feet down it needs to go, Jory freaks out and starts running to catch it because it flies just too far by about a foot. Bottle hits the ground and the cap shatters, splattering Jory in yellow piss Tiger Gatorade. I couldn’t stop laughing, it was too funny. He drank it, we went on our ways.

On the Train I meet a group of girls from Curry college, they just got back from Dick’s Last resort, wearing their hats featuring the likes of “I swallow,” “Will flash for cash,” and another one that I can’t remember what it had written on it.

They were cool and funny, I gave them my name and website, (here), and kinda half expected that to be that, because I’m really bad at meeting new people, but nope, they added me on Facebook and I consider that really funny. Now just trying to actually hang out with them and go to a party or something.

Once getting to the T, Heather picked me up, drove over and grabbed Matt and his brother Mike to come over for a bit and play some MTG. Good fun, tromped all over Mike in the first match, then lost to Matt the second game. Overall, good fun.

Sleep was too long, from like 3am to 2pm, but very good. Tomorrow a real post or something and not a journal entry piece of crap.

Classes Thus Far

First of all, Carolyn’s party Tuesday was lots of fun. I ended up a little bit drunk and we talked the night away. But I don’t think I’m allowed to DJ ever again haha.

Wednesday morning I woke up at about 6 in the morning which was pretty brutal to say the least, considering I fell asleep around 4am. Made my way to school shortly after waking up, but I needed to go to Stop and Shop first to buy a notebook and pens because I honestly didn’t have any.

School start at 8am with my first class, Psychology. No students, no teacher, guy randomly comes in and tells us that we don’t have a teacher and that we will have one on Friday. Sweet deal I say, not having to do homework is a pretty good deal.

Second Class is my American Literature class, where we find out the teacher is still using the old book because no one informed her that they were switching to a new book, which pissed her off, but made us quite happy knowing that we wouldn’t have to do any work till at least Monday because she’d have to write an all new syllabus.

Break. Between my second and third classes I have an hour break to chill and do whatever I want really, and I ended up hanging out with Emily, because she had the same problem as me with her Psychology teacher not showing. We talked about everything that’s going on, and how her cat shit string because he’s gross.

Third class is World Literature, and we dive right into work. To start off the class we get introduced to the oldest piece of literature know, the story of Gilgamesh, a king in ancient Babylon. Later we find out we have to read 30 pages by Friday, which is no problem really… Until I fucked shit up.

Remember that 2 hours of sleep? It caught up to me, I fell asleep shortly after getting home from school and didn’t wake up until 3 in the morning. (Insert it’s now Thursday here), I spent most of the morning fumbling around on the internet until it was time to shower and go to work. On my commute into work I did most of my reading and most of the rest on the way home.

Work was good, I showed Carolyn and Steve the funnest game in the world, Void(); on Newgrounds.com. It’s extremely simple, but so addicting.

When I’m on my way home, I help my neighbor put her groceries away, not entirely sure why, I just did, and as I’m walking in the door Taylor calls me and asks me if I want to go shopping with him on Newbury street to help him find something for Maria. I say sure, throw my bag on the couch, turn around, jump back on the bus and head out.

Shopping ensues, I buy a new CD and a couple of toys, Taylor buys Maria a couple of books and the most epic present anyone could possibly give anyone, but that’s a surprise, so shhh.

I finally officially come home at about 8:30-9pm, needing to finish up all my reading, which I do, then head of to bed. (Insert it’s now Friday), I wake up at 6am, not so bad this time considering I was able to get to sleep at 10:30 the night before. On my way to school I decide I should probably have taken notes for the story I just read, which I managed to work on before and after all my classes during the breaks.

We only did a meet and greet with our Psychology teacher, American Lit was another sit and talk class, and World Lit we managed to talk a lot about Gilgamesh and most of the hot topics in the story. No real homework for the weekend, A bit of reading in the Jewish Bible, and just the first chapter for Psychology class, but no writing involved so I’m quite pleased about that.

Tonight I’m working on the Spirit for a 600person cruise for some middle school somewhere, and this is probably going to turn into being hell.

Daemon Tools Is A Cunt

Daemon Tools doesn’t agree with Vista. My computer, for over an hour, booted, blue screened, restart, repeat. It was a fucking cunt to deal with. Tom had to hack my system and backdoor everything in the kitchen sink and eventually deleted the damn daemon tools, but seriously it was an unneeded pain in the ass.

Learned to play Axis and Allies, that’s gonna be some fun soon enough. Tom and Taylor played some game that I was supposed to join in on before Daemon Tools raped me in the ass, but it was all good.

Tomorrow is Carolyn’s party and I need to buy my books.

More Magic, More Fred, And A Kristina

Saturday after work, Heather, Matt, Myself and Kristina all jumped in Heather’s car to head down to N.Attleboro to go shopping at the Emerald Square Mall. There really wasn’t much worth shopping there, nothing I saw stood out, but I picked up the couple things I needed to get. Kristina on the other hand, saw a Fredrick’s of Hollywood and freaked the hell out, grabbed me by the arm, and ran me to the store. She had never seen an actual Fredrick’s store before, so she was quite pleased to go shopping there, and bought the hottest red pajamas.

After the mall it was time for dinner, and looking for a non-full restaurant at 6:30-7pm is equal to fail, so instead of waiting there, we went to Bugaboo Creek in Braintree where Kristina checked out and was picked up by her boyfriend Juozas. Overall the food I have to say was shit. My food wasn’t cooked right, the cheese wasn’t melted, and our waitress didn’t really check up on us and give us their standard issue automatic re-fills. It’s the first time out of the at least 10 times I’ve gone there and had a bad experience.

As soon as we walked in the door though, It was time to Nerd it up some. Fred came over and I destroyed him in the first match. Second match Matt and Fred battled and I can’t remember who won that one and then matched 3-6 were 3 player matches, all of which I lost. Either way I’m pleased with how my decks worked and were put together, considering I put them together in all of 4 minutes.

Magic The Gathering, Dunny’s, A Random CD, and Fred

Yesterday I chilled out with the Emperor, or as I will continue to call him, Fred. We discussed plans on re-taking over Russia and it’s outlying countries to reform the USSR to pick up where our lord Stalin left off, but then we realized Obama is going to become president, and he’d fuck our shit up if we tried anything. We decide instead that our move will be to take over a less important area that wont get our asses kicked by the anti-terrorist government of the USA, so we’re going after Delaware. No one gives a fuck about Delaware, so we’re going to take it over… eventually.

I picked up my magic cards from Fred as well and paid the man his money, bought subs, played Halo, went home and drank some Dew.

Today I bought some Dunny’s, a CD by a band called, “Screaming Weasel” titled BOOGADABOOGADABOOGADA… it’s alright skater punk stuff, nothing new or amazing though.

Now I’m blogging and probably going to sort the 1000 magic cards and kill myself or something.

Possible New Second Job?

There isn’t a chance in hell I’m leaving Photogenic, but I really need a second job. No places have been hiring and my attempts at finding jobs through the internet have been futile. But there is a ray of hope. One of Kristina’s co-workers Geda works at a dependable cleaners, and one is hiring, so I sent in an application to them with her as my reference and hopefully I’ll be hearing from them soon.

Other than that, nothing really new to report.
