Word on the Street Is: MBTA.com Sucks!

MBTA.com is a pile of trash and doesn’t make much sense or make the site flow easily AT ALL. Here’s the letter of complaint I wrote to the webmaster@mbta.com:

—————————-

I have to fill this complaint as “Website” in general, because in the 3 minutes from making an account I’ve found SEVERAL flaws on almost every part of the website.

1. After you create your account it says: “An email has been send to your email account.” should be “sent,” a common typo.

2. When you log off from your account, you can use the “back” button on your browser and MBTA.com will still see you as logged in. MyMBTA will function as you being logged in, even though you have previously logged out. It shouldn’t do this.

3. The Trip Planner will not, WILL NOT, show that there is a bus connection from the 216 route, (Hough’s Neck to Quincy Center Station) to the 236 or 238 bus routes ,(Quincy Center Station to Braintree / Randolph respectively) That will bring you to The South Shore Plaza. BOTH the 236 and the 238 bus routes leave from Quincy Center Station and Arrive at The South Shore Plaza. The Trip Planner will instead tell you to take the 216 to Quincy Center, Take a the Red Line from Quincy Center to either Quincy Adams for the Randolph (238) connection, or to Braintree Station for the Braintree (236) connection. NO TRAINS should be taken on order to meet the 236 or 238 bus connections since BOTH of them originate and leave from Quincy Center Station.

4. The Trip Planner will not allow you to save any locations, whether it be a home address, a station, or a landmark.

5. There is one account for saving trips, schedules and locations, and another separate account for Charlie Card access. These two separate accounts should be combined into one account for easier access.

Other than that, patched up my grandmother’s front steps with cement and drank some Dew.

Love you <333

Gaeta vs. Renken

Ali vs. Frasier, Mac vs. PC and Pepsi vs. Coke, what do they all have in common? Their epic battles to prove one is far superior over the other. And much like Ali, PC and Pepsi, I will be the one who reigns supreme over Ms. Emily Gaeta.

I am the greatest, I am far superior, I am gonna kick ass and NO ONE can stop me.

The Challenge? The greatest test of mind power, strength, stamina and most importantly, filling stomachs.

That’s Right.

Me and Emily.

Are Having a Cookoff.

(Time and details will be coming out soon)

By the way, went to Stop and Shop today to get gas using their promotion for gas savings. Check this out:

Sleep Schedule >Fix’d

stfuppercut

My sleep Schedule is back in order, I woke up at 11 which will mean no more bed at 6am and waking up at 5:30 in the afternoon.

Today consisted of doing nothing until about 3 when I hung out with T, brought him into Boston to pick up his check, then headed home and grabbed a quick bite to eat at Wendy’s.

After that Taylor went with his Dad to Circuit City to buy a new camera and I made my way over to pick up Tom from his work. Tom gets in, we chill at my house for a bit, laughed at Heidi’s hair because the blue dye came out atrocious on it, cock blocked and popped it to Wal-Mart and bought Tom a bike, hitched over to CVS and picked up some Dew, and rocked our way over to Tom’s.

We play 2 player Dynasty Warriors on the PC, which was kinda awkward to do on one keyboard, kicked some ass at Halo, played a little Drum Mania, then rolled on over back to Taylor’s to grab some midnight Chinese food. We eat at Imperial Terrace, go back to a different CVS, chill at Taylor’s for a few and then call it a night.

Here I am. Nite<3

My Good Deed For The Century

I was forced to go see a musical with Mom, Helen and Nana. The show was pretty good, I liked it, but It pissed me off about how they absolutely forced me to go. Mom and Dad were being douchebags about the situation and eventually Dad pulled that “we feed you you can go to this show” crap. I seriously didn’t want to go, and even after going, I STILL didn’t want to go. I’m still pretty pissed and annoyed, I slept from 6:30 to now (2:30), and I didn’t get to hang out with Emily tonight, which makes me even more upset. I’m gonna go now, figure out something to do before I go back to bed.

Kabukiman San Jo!

Kabukiman

I saw for the second time “Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD” tonight, and it is by far the funniest damn movie in the world. It’s so ridiculous and over the top with classical horrible animation and Lines you can’t forget, ever, “Hey officer, what are you taking notes for? There were only three people killed…” .. “For some reason I just have this urge for stinky raw mackerel.”

Tomorrow is the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, coverage starts at 1 on ESPN, race to start around 2.

Garment District = No Go

The Garment District shot me an email stating quite simply, they’re hiring elsewhere and that my job op. is a no go.

In other news Fred, Matt and I played Halo, Fred won again, and it was very fun, there was much rejoicing,

Another Job Interview, Sleep, and The Jew

Jews!

Taylor came home from New York today after a visit to see Maria. He brought home with him a bunch of goodies including a poster of Mao and Mao’s Little Red Book.

“Communists must listen attentively to the views of people outside the Party and let them have their say. If what they say is right, we ought to welcome it, and we should learn from their strong points; if it is wrong, we should let them finish what they are saying and then patiently explain things to them.”

We hit up CVS and Wendy’s, chilled for a few and headed out about 12 so Taylor could sleep.

My job interview at the office went well today, they seemed pretty excited over the fact that I’m available 24/7 and can do anything and everything. I’m hoping to obtain at least 2 of the 3 jobs that I’m expecting call-backs from.

Once again, the common theme of this week has been my lack of sleep, so I once again slept through most of the afternoon from 1-8. After sleep was my Jew time <3

Tomorrow is Friendly’s with Kathy finally!!

Nana’s, “The Hard Way,” and Bluefag

Today was a mostly unexciting day. I woke up at 7 to bring Heidi to her doctor’s appointment at Dr. Reed’s office, then came home and finished organizing all my files and getting everything neatened up. I was about to head back to bed when Nana called me and asked me if I could bring her car over to Bibb’s to fill the tank and to get the car inspected. I said sure, I can’t say no to that, it’ll take 2 minutes and she’ll give me a couple bucks for doing it.

I bring the car to the shop and it passes inspection, then I fill the tank, bring it on back to her house and head in. We have our normal 2 hour conversation about how everything in the world sucks right now, and if China decided to invade America it wouldn’t be a war against China, but rather a Civil War because half of the Americans that would get drafted don’t want to go into a useless war.

Then we talked about why people who find out something the easy way almost always refer to it as “the hard way.” .. “I lost my finger by having it chopped off by my engine fan, found that out the hard way!” Well, if you just stick your finger in the fan, isn’t that the easy way to figure out what happens? If you spend 3 months researching and asking around to everyone what would happen if you stuck your finger in the engine fan… that sounds like the longer and harder way.

Dumbing that down makes it easier. This next line is the same situation where someone did something, and calls it “the hard way” .. “I flipped the light switch and the lights turned on, found that out the hard way!” If you flip a light switch and the lights turn on, that’s the easy way, much like just sticking your finger into the engine fan, rather than questioning it over and over again. Sure sticking your finger into the engine fan would hurt a lot and you’d lose a finger, but it really is the easiest way to figure out what would happen if you did it. Would you stand there and ask around and question what would happen if you flip a light switch? Probably not.

Now I know I skipped a lot in that whole thing, where you have to look at it as though you never knew anything about anything and were re-learning it all, and the whole Risk vs. Reward.

Risk vs Reward

I came home after that and went to sleep from 3pm-9pm, woke up and watched Project Runway to find out Bluefag won. (I Don’t Like Him). He’s some 40 year old behemoth that thinks he’s young and trendy with his little ffffffff of blue hair. Fuck him, he sucks.

Fucked Up Car and Garment District

My car needed new cables. The ones that connect from the relay box to the spark plugs, (it needed new spark plugs too, so that was an ok-to-do fix). That’s setting me back an I owe mom $163. Once I get a job I can start paying her back asap, (note: all my cards are maxed out again LoL).

Speaking of jobs, spoiler: It’s in the title. My job interview at the Garment District went very well, I’m hoping to hear back on the job Friday, the latest being Monday-Tuesday. The job there will to be doing internet orders, filling them out as soon as possible, and shipping them out in one of 3 daily pickups by USPS (Post Office) and UPS (Brown). It’ll be a fun job that will run all the way through till November 1st.

I woke up first, dropped the scrap metal off at A Street, walked around Cambridge to kill some time before the job interview, then had the interview. Drove home and dropped the car off at Bibb’s, then slept for a little. Woke up, picked up the car, came home and slept some more. Woke up, (3rd time), went to 7/11 with Emily, she talked about how I need to stop portraying myself as a douchebag, I kinda do, and now I’m home blogging.

Keep it Fly French Fry.

No Seriously, Fuck My Car

Spark plugs only work if your car doesn’t suck. It’s still misfiring. It’s at the shop I’ll update on it tonight in my nightly blog, including my interview at the Garment District.
