Kaitlinnn I Miss You

Kaitlinnn
I miss Kaitlin a lot, I need to go see her asap <3

Truex got 4th in the race today, he’s close to jumping in the Chase and hopefully will win it this year. Kathy went to the race and was definitely excited to see Truex finish so well. Who cares if it was a rain shortened race, a top 5 is a top 5, take it or leave it :) .

Tomorrow I’ll more than likely be back over the grandmother’s helping out with the porch and her front steps. After that, who knows!

Halo Party

Halo
Tonight was the Halo Party. It was a pretty awesome, but unlike last year, we didn’t have an epic 2 hour long match of pure Godlyness. We played a bunch of different style team matches and my team of Chris/Myself/Matt won most of the team matches, except for the terrorist bombing matches, which the other kids whooped our asses in.

Pretty much any/all of the slayer matches were won either by Chris or Asian Joe. Asian Joe is by far one of the best Halo players I have ever seen. He never dies and always finds a way to kill everyone before they even know he exists. It’s not like he’s winning cheaply or close either, he wins by 10 or 12 every match and Campbell didn’t know how he did it, and he was on the same TV as Asian Joe.

I’m back home now catching up on my sports and soon I’ll be going to bed. Tomorrow I’ll be watching the Euro2008 final, as well as the Nascar race and I should be updating this site with a few new pages soon, so look forward to that in the next couple of weeks.

No Sleep (Till Brooklyn)

I didn’t fall asleep until about 2:30ish, then I woke up at 6:45-7 to head down to Emily’s grandmother’s nursing care place to visit her. Dad was supposed to lend me the truck for the trip because my car was at Bibb’s, but he took the keys so I had to drive my car, which I still consider unsafe until I get the brakes done. The car runs like a charm, but my front brakes are practically gone.

Anyways, Emily and I drove down to Chatham, and we pulled in there at about 9:15. We didn’t have the directions to where the place where we were going, but we knew it was Liberty Commons, and that is was at 390 Orleans St. Without the directions it made it a fun little side-trip through almost all of Chatham looking for the place, naturally, we do the guy thing when to comes to asking directions, ask an old man working at a gas station. We find a gas station, we find the old guy working there, we ask him directions, we get our place.

We visited her Grandmother for about 2 hours, saw her get her hair done and chilled in her room for a few. Her grandmother is really frail and weak, she’s stuck to a wheelchair but she can still use her legs to move around. It was really good seeing her, Emily hasn’t seen her in almost 2 years and I’m really happy we were able to visit her.

After Chatham, I dropped Emily off in Scituate and made my way home to pick up Tom and my money (see the three previous posts about my car sucking). For about a solid 5 minutes on the way home I hit a torrential downpour and couldn’t see shit in front of me, and driving at 10 miles an hour over the Fore River Bridge in a torrential downpour, that’s what I call that Friday.

Once I made it over the Bridge the sky cleared up, it was pretty brutal knowing in only 5 minutes it rained anywhere between 1 and 3 inches of rain. I drove crosstown and picked up Tom, we went to the bank in Quincy Center to get my money, then headed our way over to my bank so I could deposit it and pay my bills. After that was settled I brought Tom home, went home, and then slept for a few hours.

I just woke up and I’m feeling pretty good. Halo Party and New Hampshire tomorrow!

Update on the Car and Living Room

My car is at Bibb’s, I’ll know in the morning how bad the real damage on the car is. Hopefully it’s not that bad. On top of that I filed a claim with the City of Quincy, and I hope to god that they’ll accept the claim so that they can pay for the Transmission fix. If all goes well, I’ll have my car back tomorrow and I’ll hear from the city anytime within the next 2 weeks, but knowing my current luck, my car is shit and I wont be getting a check from the city for the fix.

The living room is officially finished now. All the new furniture, rug, and floor boards have all been set and it looks nice. Our next move most likely will be to fix either the bathroom or the Kitchen, and I’m leaning more towards the bathroom being the first to be fixed.

Word on the Street Is… MY CAR IS FUCKED

Not my car, but it is my car. understand?

My car, Is fucked.

End of story.

I’m taking it to MY mechanic tomorrow morning to see how bad the real damage on my car is, considering Tom’s half-dad’s brother’s shop didn’t tell me how bad the REAL damage on my was. They fixed my transmission sure, but they did that without informing me of my power steering being shot or my brakes getting knocked the fuck out.

>_<

Word on the Street Is.. TOM BROKE MY CAR

Not my car, but it is my car. understand?
Now, to be 100% fair to Tom, I was expecting him to break my car, honestly 100% was expecting him to break my car and pay me for it.

HOWEVER, I was not, in the least bit, expecting him to break my car pulling up to his house on his way back to my house to drop off my car. That’s right, he hit a rock pulling up in front of his house and punched the transmission oil pan and filter.. In other words, he better hope that’s the only thing wrong with my car or else he’s gotta pay me “big” money for the car.

The damage that’s done to it only looks like it should be about a $150 fix… and hopefully it wont take that long to fix my car, but in the worst case scenario of my car being dead dead dead, he’ll have to pay me at least $500 for the car, (ooo big money!).

I personally hope it’ll be a simple fix, I hate my car, she’s a bitch and a half… But I still love her, so there.

Mahjong, Housework, Random Hott Girl, The Grandmother, And the Girl

Jews!

Today was a fun night, action packed with Housework, Grandmother’s house needing fixing, a hott chick looking for money, and lots and lots of Mahjong.

The day started with Dad kicking me out of bed, as usual when I’m unemployed, and he wanted me to get some work done around the house. Today, it wasn’t that much work, all it consisted of was to move the futon and the hope chest out of the living room to prepare for the rug guy coming either tomorrow, or later sometime this week (the more likely situation). We disassembled the futon and moved it out into the trailer, and the hope chest was moved out to the Dining Room.

After I finished all that work I went over to my Grandmother’s house to start the list of things that I need to do to get her house fixed up. I was hardly able to do anything considering it started to rain the instant I arrived and most of the work that needed to be done was outdoors. I was able to put in her Air Conditioner, but other than that nothing else was accomplished. Next sunny day I need to prep the Front beams and back porch for painting, and then fix the front stairs with some concrete patch. Either way, it’ll be fun.

When I was done with Nana’s house I went home to get Heidi to bring her to work at Stop and Shop, get Nana some peat moss, and then pick up a 14×6 vent for dad in some hole in the wall HVAC place. All that was finished within an hour and I came back home to hopefully get a nap in, naturally, that didn’t happen. A hott girl showed up at my door looking for money to help fund a legislation move to make plastics safer and yadda yadda so that drinking water is safe for both pets and people. I gave her $5 and she went on her way, she’s not gonna call me, regardless if I didn’t give her my number lol.

Within a few minutes of that I hopped on the Internet and talked to Kristina for a bit, her boyfriend, well.. sort of, is being a total douchebag who needs a wakeup call and a slap in the face. She and I need to hang out soon again, for reals. I changed into some real clothes after that, ’cause mind you, the whole day I’ve been in my pajamas, and went to the pet store to get the dogs some Frontline Flea and Tick medicine. 3 doses, $44.98, but the shit works like you wouldn’t believe, so it’s worth it.

I tried coming up with a new bass-line, but then realized that it sounds almost exactly like the Pokemon battle theme… so that was an epic fail. Tom pulls up a few minutes after my Fail and steals me from the house to play Mahjong with Taylor and Peter.. Peter quit out on us, more fail, and Tom and I ended up at Taylor’s waiting for us to come up with a real plan. Tom and I try Lara, but she’s busy, so we steal Joe Cervols from work and dragged him over to Taylors.. Kinda.

We made a pit stop at Papa Gino’s considering we knew Taylor wanted to talk on the Phone with Maria a little bit longer. Tom ordered up a half cheese half pepperoni and we split it up well, I grabbed two slices of cheese and I was content.

MAHJONG TIME. We play Mahjong like old Chinese men play Xian Chi in Chinatown, hardcore. I won the first two games flat out, which forced me into playing a revealed hand in the third game, which I promised the boys that would make them lose the game staring at my pieces.. I was right, no one won, and the game came down to a draw. After that game the games were sifted out pretty evenly, Tom and I each won two, Taylor and Joe won one a piece, after it was all said and done I was up 71$, I only wish we actually played for money lol.

Now I’m home, we called it a night, and I just got off the phone wit my love Kaitlin, who’s still out in Europe, currently in Switzerland, (going to France tomorrow). I Love you Kaitlin, and I miss you harddd <3

Get Smart

I saw “Get Smart” with Kathy last night and the movie was really good and very funny. It had witty humor, ‘for idiots only’ humor, and also those awkward moments that you just can’t help but laugh at. It’s a highly quotable movie and you’re probably going to hear it in the office or in school over the next two weeks about it through morons quoting it like a Pastor quotes the Bible.

I give it a 10/10, go see it ASAP!!
