MBTA.com is a pile of trash and doesn’t make much sense or make the site flow easily AT ALL. Here’s the letter of complaint I wrote to the webmaster@mbta.com:
—————————-
I have to fill this complaint as “Website” in general, because in the 3 minutes from making an account I’ve found SEVERAL flaws on almost every part of the website.
1. After you create your account it says: “An email has been send to your email account.” should be “sent,” a common typo.
2. When you log off from your account, you can use the “back” button on your browser and MBTA.com will still see you as logged in. MyMBTA will function as you being logged in, even though you have previously logged out. It shouldn’t do this.
3. The Trip Planner will not, WILL NOT, show that there is a bus connection from the 216 route, (Hough’s Neck to Quincy Center Station) to the 236 or 238 bus routes ,(Quincy Center Station to Braintree / Randolph respectively) That will bring you to The South Shore Plaza. BOTH the 236 and the 238 bus routes leave from Quincy Center Station and Arrive at The South Shore Plaza. The Trip Planner will instead tell you to take the 216 to Quincy Center, Take a the Red Line from Quincy Center to either Quincy Adams for the Randolph (238) connection, or to Braintree Station for the Braintree (236) connection. NO TRAINS should be taken on order to meet the 236 or 238 bus connections since BOTH of them originate and leave from Quincy Center Station.
4. The Trip Planner will not allow you to save any locations, whether it be a home address, a station, or a landmark.
5. There is one account for saving trips, schedules and locations, and another separate account for Charlie Card access. These two separate accounts should be combined into one account for easier access.

Other than that, patched up my grandmother’s front steps with cement and drank some Dew.
Love you <333
